Hello forumers

Hello citizens

Like to introduce ourselves. Been lurking on the forum for far too long now.

Myself, the mrs and two kids are getting on OK with our designated area sponsored visa application. TRA assesment achieved and visa application sent in, all with the help of George Lombard and his colleagues at austimmigration. (Hello George, I haven't noticed you sharing your wisdom with the forum for a while now). Hoping to validate sometime early next year if all goes to plan.

Sorry to see the desertion of some of the long time posters. Some (all?) of the your threads have been great entertainment and superbly informative. (Get out of that 'going back' forum and start fighting in the lifestyle forum again, you chickens)

Anyhoo, just, hello.

Hi and welcome(I'm not british but just adddicted to this forum anyway :D)

About the above: George is still on the immigrations forum very much.

I think you've mixed this lifestyle and culture one up with that one?
I know I did in the beginning! I didn't realise they were two different forums :D

Hi PBW, (hope you don't mind the convention of shortening your username to its initials?)

Nice to "meet" you.

Whereabouts are you heading in Aus?

Mrs BW has rellies in Esk west of Brissie (pop 1600ish?) so that is where we are headed initially. (Mrsdagboy do you or others with insider knowledge have any insight into this area?)

We are expecting it to be hot, but house prices dont seem to have escalated there yet. Hmmm, is that a good or a bad sign?

PBW
