Hello from Brisbane
G'Day
Haven't been on for a while guys but just wanted to say hi to all the newbies to Brisbane and all those from north east Scotland still waiting to get over.
We have been here 8 days now and are settling in after the jet-lag has worn off!! No house, no car, no phone but we are working on it, thank goodness for the friends we are staying with who are helping us hugely
Just starting to look for work now but it still feels like a holiday, cant last forever though! The weather has been cold today also, and v.windy too, warmer in Abz i believe.
Anyway off to bed now got to go see a man about a car tommorow and get some serious house hunting organised.

Good to hear your settling in, It will be us soon aswell, as we finally got our visa, you should give garry a pm to see if he wants a pint or ten. Sharon, the kids and I will be flying over on 3rd of september so we will arrange a night out when we get there

Glad to hear you got your visa and its all systems go
The time will just fly past, just think of all the arrangements you have to get sorted!! Its worse once you get here though, no car, no house etc but it just all takes time, hopefully get the car tommorow, that will be a big help.
Where about is Gary staying and I might take him up on the beer offer?
