Default Healthy Eating, Green Living, etc., in Sydney

Apologies - the honeymoon period is over and I have to get on with real life so I'm going to be asking lots of newbie questions. (Some might call them stupid )

I've asked in bookstores about a Green Guide to Sydney, or similar, and drawn a blank. I'm not 100% hippy but I try to do a little bit to help the environment and am a bit green myself about how to achieve this. Singapore's not big on saving the world, just cooling it.

I also have food intolerances and health issues I need to work around - am stunned to find soy milk everywhere and gluten free pizzas (YAAAAY) and cakes so readily available - ok I'm not supposed to eat cake anyway but a girl's got to have a treat now and then. So a guide to eating places and shops would be good.

Are there any such books, or can you recommend me any magazines?

I've googled but so far not found anything great online.

Cheers.

Hi
I dont think this is what you are looking for really but I have found it a really useful site. Its more to do with health than green issues but might be of some use to you.

Oh no, that's very useful, thank you! I have some contacts/referrals from my previous practitioners but I'm looking for osteopaths, a GP with nutritional training, a TCM guy, and other things I won't detail so will take a good look at that.
