Before I visited Australia, I had no legs or arms. I was breathing using a ventilator, I had no hair and a colostomy bag - which was given to me by Cliff Richard, it was still filled with bowels and stuff.

Six weeks in Aussie, I grew arms, legs, hair, two sets of lungs with turbo charge, I could shit normally and Cliff could have his bag back.

I was a new woman, a born again virgin.

Now I am back in the UK, my legs have gone, the shit bag is back and I have four sets of arms growing from my face.

Im a mess.:(

Yea? Big deal! I was dead. Gone. Deceased. Passed over. Gawn. I got off the plane in Sydney and life returned to my body. Hallelujah.

But on a serious note. I used to suffer badly from hayfever in the UK - here I just get the odd sniff for short periods. Luck of the draw though I guess - you could come here and actually find there's something you're allergic to that you didn't come into contact in the UK. So whatever grass or pollen set me off, they don't have it here and therefore I don't get hayfever. :)

I'd highly recommend that you have a fountain of youth installed by the pool also. They sell them in Kmart for $89 for the inflatable type with the footpump. They only make them in Australia, proudly Australian owned brand.

Thats why we all look as though we're 18 years old and have surfer physiques. The water you simply fill up from the tap and its got a special tanning agent in for that year round glow. We're not sure the effects of recylcing the water will have in months to come though.

All my STD's vanished on the first glance, never mind drinking it and my wife has transformed into a nymphomanic with the uncanny resemblance to an 18 year old Keira Knightly.

The dogs been drinking it too and now does the housework, brings me breakfast in bed and when he shits on the lawn beds of roses appear that dont need watering. In truth its becoming a bit of pain though as the whole neighbourhood has a rose tinted smell about it :p

Serious answer here. No, I've not been healthier since moving here. In 6 months I've suffered from terrible eczema (dry air), pneumonia (right before Christmas), a bladder infection that became resistent to the drug I was on and then migrated to my kidneys (between Christmas and new year's), I suffer from dry eye here (again dry air) and constant allergies to the new and exotic pollens in the air.
On the other hand, my son who used to suffer with bronchitis at least a couple of times a year has been as healthy as a horse.

Hayfever and asthma much better for me here in Perth (I'm allergic to house dust mites, etc). The widespread use of tiled and timber floors helps a lot, and I believe the strong UV kills dust mites (but watch out for skin cancer).

Cor blimey Gov'nr, keep schtump, now Aldi have got the FOY's on special this week..everytime I ask for one at Kmart they've bloody sold out:mad: Beats Viagra I'm told.

Walked the dogs and washed the car this morn..put me hat on cause of the UV's - and best of all done it barefoot-just like the locals and have now thankfully cleared my verrucha [although have to wash my feet more often]:frown:

Had far too much weight to train in the UK and now the heat and humidity helps with evaporation I drink much more and find the bottle shops very conveniently placed during my aerobic circuit training.

Anyways the Sun is bursting ones eyeballs must get me tinted specs on..[crows feet and laugh lines protection]

I love Roses [Cadburys];)

Regardless of limbs miraculously growing back, yes, I am much healthier here. A crappy thyroid means that in warmer weather I am much better off. The English weather just slowed me down and made medicating myself difficult esp with a doctor who had his head stuck too far up his own arse to want to help.
So yes, the warmth is excellent.

Congrats on the rising from the dead mate!

Seriously though I think the hayfever thing depends. I feel that mine has gotten quite a lot worse since being here. I also find that I am more prone to skin rashes from 'natural stuff' ie) if I do gardening I break out in a rash. Edited to add we have native plants.

My friends daughter asthma is almost non existant here.

Yes, my health has improved a huge amount. I have suffered with appalling migraines since I was 17, they got progressively worse until I was losing 4 days each time I had one. Once I had my children they improved but still knocked me for six every few months - far worse in winter. The cold and damp just shut my system down.

Been here 15 months now and not had more than 3 headaches. I have no idea if I will revert in the future but for now - Australia has definitely improved my health.

Oz is deffo less healthy. The hot weather forces you to drink beer instead of wine. Too hot to exercise. Eating out is really cheap and good, so you're obliged to trough it up a few times a week instead of twice a year like in the UK. I have been here only a few weeks and have put on about half a stone.
backache has gone tho:D

I feel my general well being is alot better in oz due to receiving more sunlight. I believe 15 mins per day is required to maintain sufficient Vit D levels.

I probably only received 15 mins per week in the UK. And during winter forget about it!

Definiatly healthier..... I get up at 5.00am every weekday and go for a run (along the bech before daylight saving). Some morings (rare) it can be a little windy, but it's always such a great way to start the day.

Today we all cycled to Hillarys boat harbour (Perth) and swam in the harbour for hours, before cycling home again.
