Default Healthcare -at what cost?

I have recently been dignosed with Gallstones.I am not privately insured.Can anyone tell me how much i am likely to have to pay for either surgery or laser treatment through medicare.In addition how much am i likely to pay for the scan fee?

Some places give scan's on Medicare. Book in as a public patient and it should be free. Especially if it is surgery needed urgently.If not get on the list.
Your Dr should be able to tell you the places that do not charge for scan's and should tick the bulk billing box on referral.
