Health insurance for a non UK person:)
Hi again. Since we are Danish, and our country does not have a reciprocal agreement with Oz, and our potential employer has not offered to pay our helath insurance (my husband is going to Brisbane in a week to see them, and we hope he can persuade them once he's there), we are looking into the costs of this.
Would I be wrong to assume, that about 400-500 AUD pr month would be the approx. amount we would pay for health insurance, for a family of four, 2 adults, 2 kids aged 5 and 10?
I do not know if the price on that would go up, as I have a slightly high blood pressure (140/95) and get tablets for this to control it.
Cheers, Astrid

Hi Astrid.
You need to find a Health Insurance provider that will cover Temporary Residents (I assume you will be on a 457 visa).
I can recommend you have a read of http://www.privatehealth.gov.au/heal...rance/overseas and http://privatehealth.gov.au/healthin...as/457visa.htm
Good luck.
