Health examination??
Hi Guys
What happens during the Doctors Health examination.
I know that you have a test fro TB and aids - what is the format? Does the doctor ask a series of questions or do you complete a questionaire? All info appreciated x

The routine generally is
o X-rays either week before or same day depending on place you visit.Fill in your form before the med - get the forms from Oz house website or DIMIA offices. Any issues you may have had over the years may require a specialist note but they are only really interested in anything serious.
Dr does medical - nothing to worry about. (see thread cough and drop we posted last week). Takes blood test for Aids. Does a seperate test for hep if you have a tatoo. Tests wee wee for sugar.
Write a cheque for a few hundred squiddles.....

Yep had my medical last week. Pretty straight forward - apart from he had to try 2 or 3 times to get blood sample. I was amazed that I was able to provide wee wee sample cos felt like the sahara! There are a few reflex tests which end up with you stood there in your feckers and socks (or did I just get a dodgy doc?). Hearing, sight, usual. Bit of an anti climax actually. Just dont get the form for your chest x-ray and medical mixed up. They look very similar and I took wrong one! They're helpful though and have new ones there.
