Hi everybody,

Could you kindly give us some suggestion on this place for 2 kids and me and my spouse need to move on next year, your valued sugg. would be very much appreciated.

I know this place is under Boroondara muncipality.

Are you talking about Hawthorn in Melbourne? It's a superb suburb, sitting between Kew and Camberwell with close links to the Monash freeway, probably 15-20 minutes to the CBD (though not in rush hour:eek: ), the same to the beach and not much further to the Dandenongs. It's quite expensive, but with loads of good schools near by.:)

Hawthorn East is very nice burb, but it is dry (no licenced restaurants in a portion of it..thank those Methodists).
V expensive to buy, but we rented there for 2 years and loved the proximity to city, shopping, trams etc. When we bought we had to leave the area!

Sorry for the typo error .....supposed to be "Hawthron East"

I'm planning to rent 2 rooms house as my daughter is going to primary School next year.

Subsequently I will see whether this place is really good for us to live permanantely. If everything goes affarmative then I will think of buying property.

At the meantime Balwyn North is also being shortlisted. These are the two places I have listed called future home. Any further suggestion pls. give us
