Really getting fed up now with our buyers. We have just received the contract from the Solicitors which we will be returning tomorrow. Then get a call from Estate Agents who want builders number as the buyers now want to know what type of foundations the house stands on because there is a tree in the garden. They want to cut it down and even asked if they would have to pay for it!! Anyway, could they not have asked this four months ago when they first placed the offer? Getting really angry now as we are now paying for an empty house. Feel like telling them to stick it!

Sorry to hear you're having such a nightmare Debs.....hang in there!! It'll all be worth it in the end.......get your own back just before you hand the keys over.....lift a floorboard an stick a dead fish under there!.....take 'em ages to find what the smell is...

You could always hang the gits from the tree and then chop it down just as they are suffocating

I have sent an email to the local council asking them if there is a preservation order on the tree even though the builder told us there was not. Just my luck if they say there is one then I am up creek without a paddle!!:scared:
