Have we forgotten anything?

We need urgent help to know if there are any other important documents we will need over the next 6 months…

We are in the process of getting together the last few bits and pieces before we move out of our home next weekend (while the house contents are packed in our 20’ container). The plan is that we will stay with parents for the next few months until we get the visa and then stay with family in Brisbane before renting.
Chances are that all of this will take around 6 months so we want to make sure we have all the documents that we will need both in the UK and when we first get to Oz.

The sort of documents we have got together so far are:
Current Tax year payslips
Last years P60
Bank statements
Credit card statements
Utility bills (last 3)
Endowment policy documents (all ready to cash in!!)
Passports, Birth certificates & Driving licences
Car documents & insurance (for no claims discount)
Qualification certificates
Existing mortgage details
Employer references
Visa documentation submitted

Can anybody think of anything else we might need, we are so worried that a few weeks down the line we will desperately need something else…………
Thanks in advance for your replies/ advise.

Thanks Sandra forgot to say Jacks 'red' health book. We still need to get the doctors notes but I'll worry about that after I get over the stress of the move!!!

I got my credit history report from Equifax. May be useful for future mortgage applications.

List of names and addresses off letterheads so you can contact anyone without having to dig out the paperwork, also useful for notifying of new address when you arrive.

I'd take more history, not just this year, and last 3 etc (but that's just me - I had 15 years worth of bank statements just condensed down to 5 years, and that was painful!)

Mash...

Hi,

Copy of medical & dental records for all the family. Children's school
reports, marriage certificate if you are married, any life insurance
documents & payslips to work out if you are due a tax rebate before you
leave.

Good luck.
