It has gone
finally all the paper work has been obtained and certified, forms filled out, mug shots taken and now the application (skilled independent) is on its' way to Oz.
Now the waiting begins
, not that we are in any hurry
There seems to be a lot whom have just got their visas through or are just starting out. Any more that have just/just about to send off their application?

Ours was sent on the 15th May and we had confirmation via email that it was recieved on the 21st May. It was skilled independent so we are also waiting.

We sent off skilled independent end of April.They acknowledged receipt 1st May 03.Look,s like waiting time,s are getting shorter,what do you think?

I am hoping that the waiting times will be around the prediction by DIMA of 52wks. Alan C put a post earlier today with the latest waiting times, and that shows over the 50wks mark, so those who got theirs in very short period of time must mean there are those who have waited much more than this average.
More of a guess than any specific knowledge, but I think that the v quick times will disappear as the new tax year is about to start and there willl not be a rush to met quotas til next year.
