I am seeking to put in an Application For Approval to Import a Vehicle to OZ but am not clear of the best route..

I was recommended to look at DOTARS website to obtain details on Australian Compliance for my motorbike.

But I can't find how to get this information.

Can anyone who has undergone this import procedure give me some help/guidance?

You can download the"Approval to import a vehicle form" from the Dotars website at www.dotars.gov.au/transreg/usb/vsb
The vehicle must be approved first,before you can even think of shipping it.
There may also be a brochure on the dotars website called "Importing vehicles to Australia" which tells you all you need to know, and wait for it"How Much".
This is where i changed my mind on shipping my ZX7-R, it's money for this and money for that,the list goes on. You even need to send $50 with the approval to import form.
