Thanks for all your kind thoughts and belated birthday greetings to Poll!
We had a great time and went on a private aeroplane (oooh) to Rottnest Island for the day. I also got a groovy boogie board and some scuba diving kit so was well pleased. The flight was excellent and we had a lovely meal by Thompson Bay. We went swimming but as it was so bloomin' hot, so we went shade seeking and discovered a cafe where the Quokkas would come close. The kids loved the Quokkas and my 7 year old got to tickle one quite a bit. We also saw a friendly sting ray in Geordie Bay and went on electric see-through bottomed boats. On the return trip we flew up to Hillary's boat harbour, circled the CBD and flew over King's Park. It was brill!
