Default Handed my notice in!!

Hi Guys,

After a lovely weekend in sunny Milan with mates I returned to work on Monday and handed in my notice.

Only been there 3 months or so so boss was a bit shocked but took it really well and was really pleased for me. No problems with references.

Agreed not to announce it till next week so I have a bit of breathing space. Leave June 13th, fly June 30th

Wanted to exchange on the house by now but sounds like it will be soon, then complete at end June.

Starting to feel really wierd, trying to organise everything but still make time to see friends before we go and have quality time.

Just wanted to share the news with you

Think giving notice is a hard step, as that really brings about the realisation that you are on your way. Good luck

So true, announcing it will be worse, all the explanations... Only being there 3 months I've not built up any lasting relationships........

I actually hoped my boss would say no point in working your notice, off you go...

The 45 mile drive there and 45 miles back seemed interminable today!

Yes, but apparently need to do new ones in oz but referring to the UK ones, then assets the UK will be covered by UK law, and assets in Oz covered by oz law...

If you just do a new will in oz, it will cancel out the uk one, beware..

Good point, I best look into that. I am hoping not to croak in the near distant future, but you never know, especially as we are flying via Dubai. :scared:

45 miles is ok just when the weather is sunny, as its mostly across country...

But today it was miserable...and I had no motivation!
