Good morning everyone (and good evening to those down under, or those catching this thread a bit later on....?)

I'm starting to think about currency conversion, and have registered for on line prices with Halewood (hifx.co.uk). This lets me monitor their rates and I can see their spread (30points for the GBPNZD rate).

Was wondering what other FX companies people have used and whether they would recommend them. For me personally I would prefer one with online prices so I can keep an eye on how competitive each's prices are.

Also I am following up separately with a couple of banks, but probably am hoping for mates rates to get these as competitive as places like Halewood.

Any advice would be gratefully received.

I used Halewood once and Currencies Direct 3 or 4 times.

I got better rates (for Aussie $s) with C.D and preferred their (optional) direct debit method of paying the deposit and balance.
