Any Hairdressers Out There.just Wondered If Anyone Could Confirm That It Is Possible To Be Self Employed Hairdresser In The Perth Area. The Wages For Hairdressers Seem Extremly Low But Presumably That Is When You First Start.hubby Chris Has His Own Salon In Leigh Onsea Essex And His Staff Are On Either Rent A Chair Of 50 50 Basis.when We Get Out To Perth Chris Does Not Really Want To Start His Own Business But Would Rather Work Self Employed For Someone Else.chris Alone Takes Approx £800.00 A Week
And His Prices Are Not Expensive £25.00 Cut And Blow Dry,from £45.00 For Colour/highlites £13.00 For Blow Dry And £12.00 For Mens .chris Has 23 Years Experience But It Worried Us Abit When There Was Another Post From A Salon Owner Who Said The Stylist Would Have To Earn Around About $2500 Dollars A Week To Earn $700,00 Do Not Quite Get The Figures.
Basically If Someone Could Confirm That You Can Be Self Employed It Would Then Be Up To Chris To Build Up His Client Base
Thanks Alot In Advance

Re: hairdressing
I know people who are self employed and work Mobile, not sure about from a salon. You would still have to get your licence tho.
