hairdresser question
Hi everyone
Just a quick query, what's the position with hairdressers in western australia? Is there still a need for them, is there room in the market for more or has been flooded?
Are they good value for money or too much competition to make a good living?
Thanks for taking a look and all feedback appreciated

Re: hairdresser question
hi thanks
Anywhere really haven't got a specific place in mind. Just peoples feedback on the hairdresser situation.
In the uk there's about ten on one street (ok slight exaggeration) but if there is room for more business salons out there. So a reply from cross section of people would be great. Are they value for money? are you struggling to get app? For me any feedback wherever you live would help.
Thanks again

Re: hairdresser question
I think you go to the same one I do. No complaints from me. The hours are convenient, conversation is good and while maybe a little more expensive than I would like I can live with it.

Re: hairdresser question
I'm not in WA but the couple of Australian stylists I tried when I first got to Sydney were indeed shit, and not at all cheap.
I found a good young Kiwi before he moved to Melbourne, and am now looked after by two lovely Brit boys. Pay about $250 for a cut and colour; they're very overbooked but on an evening appointment the bubbly is free-flowing
My theory is that all the decent Aussies go somewhere they can be more creative.
