Grrrrr AGENTS!!
Sorry gonna have a small moan
If you are thinking of using an agent please make sure that it is recommended by people that have USED them and not because they come across nice, professional and seem to be reasonably priced!!
We did use an agent at first but was so disappointed with them and rocketing costs that we gave them the boot. They have just sent us another VERY confusing statement, they owed us £450 and some how when we have`nt used them for ages looks like we owe them £79.26? No mention of our £450?? PLEASE BE CAREFUL!!!

Hi thanks
Yeah they were MARA registered!! will still be reporting them. I have a friend that has used them and Karenjc from on here used them also not happy with the service & cost.
Just want to warn those who are thinking of using an agent "BE CAREFUL!" even if they are registered, they can still rip you off.
Thanks again

Name and shame !
Otherwise others may use them as well.
(Our agents were Parris & Shah, Sydney. They were good and did their job.)

On a personal note, the agent I approached seemed only interested in money (understandable) but not that interested in my situation (less understandable) a balance of the two would have been nice.
Name & shame (if allowed) for those of us contemplating paying out a lot of money.

we cannot go through that again!
what happenned before was that a certain migration agency (now refered to as "those that cannot be named") was NAMED & SHAMED on the forum and then threatened to sue British Expats! Obviously we do not want a repetition of that do we!!!!!!!

Remember plenty of shipping co. polls, don't remember a Migration agents poll though. Maybe that would be an anonymous way of seeing the good the bad and the ugly.

How about private messaging to those enquiring.
You dont have to slander, just state the name.

RE: The PM Idea... way ahead of you! I already PM'd Sue to ask who it was as we are going to employ an agent to help us with the new TRA application & want to be certain that the one who Sue has had the problem with is not the same one as we are going with....
BTW - Where's Johnny? But lurve the new avatar!
