I live in Greenwood but havent sent my children to school there.They are both in different primary at the moment.My eldest is going to North Beach,Olg and we are very pleased with it.She loves it there.Where do you live.

We are in Duncraig but want to move our kids back into a catholic school as they were in the UK.

Clearly not. Go and make appointments and look around both schools. It is the only way you will know whether you like them or not. Ask if you can go and stand in on an assembly, ask if you can walk around the school during recess. You can get a good feel about a schools kids during assembly and recess.

Good classroom displays are one indicator -they suggest a teacher who works hard. Look for marked work also. Have a chat with the head and, if you ask only one question, make sure it's this: "How do you ensure that maths and English are taught consistently across the years (and within years)?"
