Wink Great shopping websites tried and tested by a Desperate House Wife

May a million wallets begin to groan............your husbands may hate me for this, but you are gonna love me All the sites I have bought from.

As requested my shopping secrets.................

http://www.comeinside.com.au/2004/ - for homewares and bedding

http://www.freckles.com.au/ - The best bedding ever !! for children. David Jones will order you anything off here. Check the bed castle out in the accessories section Imogen has got it in her new bedroom with the Butterfly Garden bedding (I want to be a child again!)

http://www.gymboree.com/index.jsp - The best children's clothes you will ever find. Superb and I mean superb quality. Only order the sale stuff otherwise it can be a bit pricey. They have a permanent sale on of the previous collection. The only problem you will have is when they grow out of it you will cry giving it away, I do. They recently started shipping to Oz

http://www.puddlebeach.com.au/Default.aspx - Fab wellies and funky stuff

http://www.kidzoneshop.com.au/index.htm - Great for children's rooms. Do a fantastic range of drawer knobs. bought the butterfly ones for Imogen's room - super service and quality.

http://www.bayswiss.com.au/index.php - Homewares

http://www.kiddywink.com/home.php - Children's room themes

http://www.allposters.com/gallery.as...3EEF19D01DE731 - Last but by no means least. This one is the best for prints. Just type in the search of the subject or the artist you are after and away you go. I can even get pics of Sean Bean LOL. My main reason was to find some prints by David Roberts who did fantastic paintings of Egypt and the Holy Lands. I needed another two to complete the collection (to cover the vast wall space in the flippin house - you'd be surprised. I thought all this open plan living meant less walls not more )
But whatever you are into you'll find it here I promise.

Enjoy!!

Thanks Jill

I love Gymboree too, but $40 US for international post and packing is pretty steep, so I have had to restrain myself from ordering anything at the moment.

Thanks for the other web addresses too, I will have a good look through those later.

HELP! Moderators please delete this thread before my wife sees it. I was hoping for a few months free of her shopping while she finds out where to buy stuff

Hi Jill,

thanks very much for those web sites. I've copied them into my useful folder for when we get to Perth. (Luckily, my husband doesn't come to this forum, otherwise he'd probably agree with Worzel's sentiment above )

Gina

P.S. Tried to give you some Karma, but it won't let me

Jill, hon, you're a diamond! At least, that's what my daughters have asked me to tell you. As they're at work all day, this kind of info is priceless.

Hi Jill

We are heading for Perth this year.

The children's linen looks fab, I will definitely be waiting till I get to Oz to purchase bits for my three children for their bedrooms.

Thanks for spending the time to start this tread, its really useful.

Take care

Hi Steve

Good luck with the venture. The products look great. The only reason I didn't include you in the original line up is because I hadn't purchased anything from your site yet. I only wanted to recommend sites I had actually used, but I am sure I will in the future as I just adore Internet shopping, well I adore any shopping really, shoes, clothes, home wares.......................... I have to live up to my reputation LOL
