Default Great News

The Boomerang family (and BE family too) will get bigger... My partner is pregnant, and the baby is due in March, first scan soon... Just one thing that worries us both, in my family and hers there are twins... :scared: So the probability of us having twins increased quite a bit

Move to Oz will still go ahead but obviously will be delayed for a while longer...

Will update you all later.

Hey, fantastic news
Congratulations to you.
Hope everything goes well. Twins though - that's scary.
I had my first two kids just 11 months apart, then the 3rd came along 19 months after that. I was buying 3 different sizes of nappy for a while
Hard work but well worth it

Good Luck.

That's lovey news Boomerang. Well done.

PS - the usual stats for twins I seem to recall is 1 in every 300 births .... but if they run in the family, watch out.

Actually 1 in every 48 people is a twin (1 in every 96 pregnancies)

I own 2 of them - a pair of girls.

There are lots of people on the forum with twins, have a look at -

Twins are great! They entertain each other... collaborate on mischief.... neither is ever without a best friend.

I often wonder what parents of single babies do with all their spare time!

Awww many congrats. Friend of mine was a twin and her elder brother and sister were twins and there was only a gap of 18 months between the two sets - some people need their heads examining

Congratulations.

Depends on what type of twins are in your family as to whether your odds increase. Identical twins are not hereditary, just a nature thing with egg splitting. However non-identical twins can run in families.
