Has anyone stayed in the granite apartments on the gold coast? just looking for accommodation and they seem pretty nice!

if your looking for somewhere to stay temp whilst looking for a rental etc i can recommend pelican cove resort at biggera waters
if your staying for more than 28 dyas you get one hell of a big discount too
this isnt advertised so you need to speak direct to either murry or jenny ( the managers ) and ask for the discounted rate ( tell them steve from expats sent you ) we stayed there for 5 weeks whilst we looked around and got our bearings as it were, its central, clean and the management team are really helpful

pm me if you want their details that or do a web search they are part of the wentworth group but remember you only get the discount from a direct booking

Hi Sarah, I'm from Halifax, next town along to you, been on the Gold Coast for 12 years

Where are the granite appartments?

Hi Auspal, small world eh?! I take it you like it there then after being there so long! the apartments are in labrador overlooking broadwater on frank street if that helps?

They should be fine then, pretty new I think. Thats a good area for restaurants and the Grand Hotel pub. The broadwater is beautiful Sarah

hi sarah weve been here for 4 months and are in the process of buying an apartment in labrador, it is in the granit complex , its two beds , two baths and comunal pool. its on the top floor. if you want any more info let me no. julie
