Has anyone formed a list of government payments to families?

So far I've come up with;
Child allowance, means tested
Start bonus back to school payment (for starting year 7 and year 5)
First time home buyers grant
Various energy efficiency subsidies

Anything else?

There is anew one this current tax year which allows some costs of pubblic schooling to be partially reimbursed. I think things that can be included are home broadband for example.

I believe you can claim a 50% rebate up to a maximum rebate of $375. The claim will go into the JUNE 2009 self assessment so you should be collecting receipts NOW.

Washing Machines
NSW: $150 rebate available for a new washing machine with at least a 4½ star rating. www.environment.nsw.gov.au Available between 1 August 2008 and 30 June 2010
SA: $200 rebate on a qualifying Washing New Machine, with at least a 4 star rating. www.sawater.com.au

Rainwater Storage Tanks
Various rebates from $150 to $1500 are available in some States in Australia

QLD has a $50 special home electrical check with up to 15 low energy light bulbs and a special remote gadget to check your electrical usage.
