Got it too!! ... I think?
Recieved an email this morning from our case officer requesting passport for "visa evidencing" (I assume this means stamping?)...
One odd question though. He has asked for confirmation that we will enter Oz together... Do we just send an email response saying - yup we'll enter together... or do we need to prove purchase of tix or something? Any ideas? Anyway - Hooray!!! (This was a Subclass 461 Visa - temporary (renewable) residence visa). :) :D :beer: :beer: :beer: :beer: :beer: :beer: :beer: :D |

Congratulations mate I think you have got it woopeeeeee.
I think a simple letter confirming that you will be entering oz together will be sufficient. If you want to be on the safe side do a stat dec confirming this. All the best and have a drink on me tonight Mags |
Or if you've booked tickets online, a copy of the e-tickets to your case officer may help.

Yep - mine said that too about entering together. Send them photocopies of your tickets.
It's such a lovely feeling getting that visa. I felt a bit cheated as was really ill for a few weeks and received the email just as I was having to go home from work and it just didn't feel as good as it should have done. Still, made up for it when I was better!! |
