Had 4 Shipping Quotes thought I'd share them with you all. Hope it's useful!
These are from Accrington, Lancashire to Gold Coast (alittle more expensive than just to Brisbane!) Door to Door Quotes.

JOHN MASONS: 550 cu feet £2498 (£2459 to Brisbane) Shared Container.
£21 pw Storage in UK + VAT. insurance at 3%.

FOX: 624 cu feet £3006 (£2766 to Brisbane) Shared Container.
Free Storage upto 12 weeks in UK. Handling fee not sure
how much, he said nominal charge!!!
800 cu feet £3089 quote to Brisbane only Sole container.
Insurance at 3%.

ROBINSONS: 580 cu feet £2587 to gold coast. Shared Container.
Storage in UK £16 pw.
Insurance 3%.

PSS: 636 cu feet £2623 (£2470 to Brisbane) Shared container.
506 cu feet £2228 (£2082 to Brisbane) Shared Container.
4 weeks free storage. No handling Charge. £23 pw +VAT
after. Storage in Brisbane $30 pw (636 cu ft) $24 pw (506
cu ft) + $159 one off handling charge.
Insurance 2.8%.

So I think PSS might just be the cheapest. and after reading good feed back on them on here I think we may go with these!

Mind you John Masons rang this am and asked how their quote was I said expensive so she is speaking with the boss to see what they can do will get back to us!

PSS said they would look at what they could do also if somebody came in cheaper than them!!

Anybody had any bad experiences with them? I would love to hear. Or Good
even better.

We leave in 3 1/2 weeks!!! My God I'll ring tomorrow and book them.

A friend of mine did have some problems with PSS, she was in Kent though and they used subcontractors who not only broke a few things but said there was no more room for anything, so she had to leave some stuff behind but there was loads of room as it turned out!

We used John Mason and would highly recommend - not one thing broken, professional, helpful and pretty stress free (well, as much as it can be!) And no, I don't get commission from them!

PSS and Masons quoted us £3100 for the same amount as you but from London to Melbourne
