Got acknowledgment at last!
Got acknowledgment today that ASPC received our application on the 13th April so just managed to squeeze it in before the points rise. It says that it will be about 50 weeks, thats nearly a whole year!!!! Here goes the waiting. And another bottle of wine to celebrate.

50 weeks, is that about right
On our acknowledgement letter it said we can expect to wait for about 50 weeks, is that about right or do people usually get their request for meds and police checks sooner. God, im impatient already and its only been 8 hours since we got the letter!!!

Mine said 50 weeks and it was exactly 6 months to the day they requested meds and police certs.
7 months and a few days to the date our visa was granted. Close your eyes and send good vibes to that little envelope of papers sat on a desk in Adelaide or wherever. It works. Honestly. :) |
