Hi,

It was great talking to you, hope you get some sleep soon.

I know exactly what you are going thru, its horrid!! No 2 ways about it. However things do get better when you get here, and all the emotional goodbyes seem a very distant memory...

Having good friends here helps too, so do not worry we will all look after you and the BB family.

Really looking forward to seeing you, think I will be at the airport with Nicki to collect you, 2 cars for all your luggage etc etc.

Hope you will be wearing the union jack thong as promised, cos I am bringing the camera to capture the moment and the thong!! And if you do not mind, will post it on the expats for everyone to us!! I am open to offers if anyone wants a personal copy!!!

See you soon

Love Jo xx

Not eating or sleeping much-perhaps I should stop staying sober.
Putting photos in with BB jnr's thankyou cards-wow,he's got some great friends who'll miss him.
Would appreciate comments from those who've had these feelings-with so many good friends and family here, why should you up and leave 'em all ?

BB-must kick buttsniffer round the garden-that'll sort me out.
Hi Baldbutts,
Bit weird isn't it , have to say i felt the same the strange thing is now that i am at the other end of the planet i hear more from my rellies than i did back in Scotland and they all lived within 5 miles of us. I;e e-mail, msn, webcam.

Good Luck BB, hope it all goes to plan and you can put it all behind you very soon...

Let us know everything when you arrive.
Mash

PS Mr Mash is getting the 9 weeks to go jitters, and even that's not definite!!

Hi Baldbutts & Hibee
Hibee, you have said what I was going to say!! I couldn't agree more, we have had as much contact with people as if we were back home in Jersey - and that's an island only 9 miles by 5!

We got one of those phonecards where you dial a local number and then key in your own ID - it may have been with Telstra or Vodafone - and it's been great. A $10 card has given us loads of talk time to the UK and the lines are really clear. Just make sure those back home remember the time differences!

By the time you read this, BB, it will be too late anyway as you'll be here (or there - we're in Qld)

Really good to hear that you got there in the end

Best wishes
Caryn & Tony
