Google have introduced a rather nifty new feature on their maps that allows you to view things from street level. There is a bit of a worry about privacy etc. But it's quite funky.

Just been on Google Earth, but cant find the tool that allows you to do this !!

Make sure you select street view in the layers section on the bottom left. This will then show cameras dotted about the landscape. Click on the camera and select full screen view.

go to www.google.com.au and just click on maps at the top left corner ..... its really cool ..everyone in my office spent most of the afternoon looking at their houses and anyone else they had ever met's

if you ask for directions it gives you pictures along the route in 360' view also MAD!!

Fantastic both in Google maps and Earth. Which countires do not use it. I see UK and NZ don't seem to to work. Any reason why?
