Red face Good schools in Melbourne

Dear All,

Hope this finds everyone well.

Was wondering if anyone can tell me where i can find a map of schools in Melbourne, along with any sites that discuss what are good achieving schools.
Finding it hard to pick areas to look at to live, as the most important objective is to be in an area that has a good public school for my children aged 6 and 8. (Preferably not to close to the main part of the city)
Any parents that have moved to melbourne recently or people thinking of melbourne, any suggestions???
Was looking at point cook, Mornington, Banyule and Doncaster areas to live but as i say finding it hard to get views on the schools in these areas.
Any help much appreciated.
Regards
nirrade.
