My kits are being let out of prison next week. I'm getting in their supplies and need to find a decent pet store, preferably in North Sydney, that sells Science Diet food. The supermarkets I've been in don't sell it.

I've googled and I know I can buy online, which I may well do in future, but I'd like to go to a pet store anyway to check out the cat trees, heat pads, etc. I'm on the Lower North Shore but can travel for a good one, superstore, etc. I've seen a few in malls but they're not very big or that well-stocked.

Also need to get some new tags made - do pet stores organise this here or would I be better finding a Mister Minit type of place?

Recommendations for good vets would also be much appreciated. These are my child-substitutes, after all.

Check out 4 Paws Vets on Military Road in Neutral Bay - we found them very good.
There is a pet store next to it, and there also used to be one over the road from there near the bus stops. Figtree Vets in Lane cove is also good (we use them currently), but more of a trek to get to than Neutral Bay.
Best to go to Mr Minute or similar as pet stores charge a wad of cash for engraved tags.

Is 4 Paws near a Woolies? I think we passed it. Lane Cove would also do - I'm used to travelling half way across the island to a decent vet even though there was one up the road.
