Hi Guys

Just to say that WE COMPLETED ON OUR HOUSE!!! and we have large spondoulies in the bank!!!!!

We have been up to Kalbarri, a couple of hours drive from here, not much to see on route, but the kids are entertained watching dvds!
Kalbarri is beautiful and well worth a visit. The gorges are worth the 30 odd k journey on a bumpy, dusty, corrugated road to see.
Leah and I also did the 2 hour river treck and crossed the river on horse back, which was cool (and wet!! ) We saw loads of roos across there too. The best thing was the gallop along the beach, my arse can feel every step today though, still it was worth it, i felt like a sixteen year old for a while there, and lets face it, its been a while

Off to Monkey Mia at 6am tomorrow for a couple of days.

We have then decided to fly to Adelaide and pick up a car from there, less boring that way!

On a practicle note, the driving speeds are SLOW!! doing 110ks on a straight road that has NO traffic on it except for 3 cars in 2 hours is frustrating!

The super saver phone card is a must, really cheap, but remember to copy down th number off the thermal recipt somwhere safe as it rubs off!

Thats all for now folks, back soon, Hevs xx and mob.

Great news on the house sale H and Tina!!! Yippee!!!!!!! Does it make you feel weirdly free/young like it did for us?

Have fun in Monkey Mia. Sitting in a car for many days on that post horseriding bottom could be an endurance test - flying to Adelaide then driving sounds like a great idea and you'll get to see just about enough outback that way. Can't wait to hear what it's like. Have you read Bill Bryson's description of that trip in Down Under?

See you all very soon,

Jo, Mike and Alec
