Good News for the Building trade in SA?
New Residential Building Approvals in South Australia......
Compare the last three years total residential building approvals.
12 months to Feb 2006 10,846
12 months to Feb 2007 11,606
12 months to Feb 2008 12,111
12 months to Feb 2009 13,848
But it is only a small State, so don't all go rushing down there.
Queensland however, is at the other end of the scale (excluding the NT):
12 months to Feb 2006 38,399
12 months to Feb 2007 40,243
12 months to Feb 2008 45,918
12 months to Feb 2009 36,282 .. the lowest number of approvals since:
... 12 months to Feb 2002 32,847

So, a civil eng have all the chance in SA and QLD.Perth really stoped.

Adelaide took off a little later than the other states, boom wise, probably play catch up with downturn soon too.
