I just did a bit of a search around on a few sites I usually use to book flights and it appears to be a really good price. The cheapest I found was about £600.

We booked our flights last week....We are going via the US and stopping in Florida and got our fares for £1057 for the 2 of us...

Surprisingly, the cheapest I have found is Singapore Airlines, shame eh?

Those prices seem pretty good to be honnest.

Have they quoted for luggage allowance at all?

ann-Marie posted this thread whilst i spent quality time in the pub.
Every now and then a man needs his space ( living in a caravan tends to do that ) and mine was spent downing several pints of export.

My uncle flies ( ieilot ) for british airways and the best he could do was 700 notes for adults and 500+ for the kids, manchester-london-singapore/bangkok- sidney-brisbane.

have found singapore airlines for under 400 adults and about 350 for the kids , total £1543.20 ( maths is shite ) for all four of us one way.

the laptop is going away tomorrow for a week or two so no posts for a little while, kids spilt some pop on the keyboard , at least that's MY story.

Good flight, looks good and a good price.
took a bit of shopping around, but after we went to HSBC today to sort out an aus bank account and hit MANY,MANY brick walls ( several pints later ) i cannot stress enough the importancwe of sorting out your bank account at an early stage of emigration.

No idea what i have just written.
