We have ours with NRMA. Seem fine, very helpful when I had a minor ping with another mother at the school. But we have only been here a few months, so probably not the best person to advise.

We are with Vero through HSBC or Bankwest. Recently had an annual renewal from them (for an Audi and VW) and nobody came near their price for Comprehensive.

Thankfully I haven't had to make a claim so can't comment on that side, but AAMI have consistently proved to be cheapest.

AAMI are pretty good, you should include them in your top three for a quote.

My boyfriend uses Just Car insurance and they were the cheapest for him by about $200 a year. He got about 5 quotes in total I believe, I know one was from AAMI but I don't know who else

Yeah I know, but AAMI weren't happy about insuring him unless he restored his car to stock (He bought it with an after market air filter) whereas Just Car didn't care

AAMI were best for the green slip, and had to use Justcar, as my car was imported to Oz!

We are also with Vero through Westpac and the nearest quote too them was $200 more expensive.

Paying $800 for a $23000 Toyota Camry - 2 drivers in South Yarra.

Thank you everyone, but Amazulu, these guys beat everyone on a 4 door Holden Commadore Exec, plus roadside recovery and assistance for under everyone else. They were also incredibly pleasant on the telephone. What great people!
She was very pleased a customer had recommended them... Karma to you.

Ouch! Holden Commodore Exec, V6... roadside assistance etc, two drivers, 60% no claims, no accidents or claims in past 5 years, no drivers under 30 allowed - $570.

I think you should check them out unless your Toyota Camry is so super sporty you need extra insurance....

Might well need to check out your insurance company iPom - who did you say you were with? We also have the maximum no claims (9 years in UK - wife had protection for her accident) - perhaps the accident had something to do with it - or my speeding ticket/s?
