Good books to read?

Im off on holiday next week and would like a book to read whilst lounging in the sun. Ideally something on someones exepriences of emigration or just something about Australia other than a guidebook.

Any suggestions?

I read Bill Bryson's "Down Under" and thoroughly enjoyed it.
