Good BANK for Aus-UK ping-pongers

Hi all,
Currently living in Australia and planning a move next year over to UK.
We travel each year between the two for holidays, and always have dramas with transfering money.
Does anyone know of a good bank that you can set up an account in each place and connect them (without huge fees)?
I have looked at HSBC and it seems ok....any suggestions?:o

I would suggest it's best to find the best account for you in each country (with no fees being the obvious criteria) and not worry about using a bank (directly) for the foreign exchange as they all seem to charge an arm and a leg for that particular service.

Search for bank accounts as it's a topic that has been done to death.

Use the likes of xetrade.com, ozforex.com.au etc for the currency trades.

I wouldn't use your bank to exchange your money, unless you feel like getting a crap exchange rate and paying more fees.

We have used Ozforex several times and they've been great.
