The Sydney to 'Gong one that BUG have arranged? Not me - was reading about it in the paper though - sounds like a great ride.

Yeah Syd to Gong. It's run by the MS Society. First year back to the Gong in 3 yrs because of a landslide on Lawrence Hargreaves DR a few years ago. It's a pretty easy ride 89kms, not really hilly, goes through the RNP. I usually manage anywhere between 2.55 and 3.01 but I've been a bit slack lately and can't imagine going much under 3.10 this year

Gets a few riders. Approx 10,000 this year I think. I always get a start with the front group, avoid the carnage from the weekend warriors that way. Great fun though

Now the 200km race I have in Bright through the Vic Alps in January won't be much of a laughing matter,,uuggh. must lose weight
