Hi All

Please can anyone advise me on Golden Grove in Adelaide, I have been looking at properties there and they seem very reasonable, I would like to know what the area is like and are the surroundings areas ok ? I have lived in North Adelaide and just wanted to know if it is similar to that ?

Also I would be looking for work in the city of Adelaide, would this be quite a journey from Golden Grove?
I have looked on the internet and there seems to be a direct line to Adelaide City.

And another question.... would there be work opportunities in Golden Grove, what am trying to say is do they office blocks etc?...is it like a "mini town"

Well Golden Grove is about 5 minutes away from me (by car), but I've only passed through so I haven't really got all that much idea on what it's like.

I have heard that it's really lovely there. My Aunt lived there for 5 years before she moved to Mawson Lakes and has said she would quite happily live there again.

It takes me about 30 - 40 minutes to get into the city, so probably about the same from there on the bus. In a car you can knock about 10 minutes off. Bus tickets cost $7.20 for a day ticket (lasts all day for as many journeys as you want)

I know there is a shopping centre near there, but I haven't been to it so don't know how big it is. I'm also not sure about office work there, but there are a few about in the Northern Suburbs, and the odd one or two in the East.
