Gold coasters? Is it difficult getting a rental in Varsity Catchment?
Would just like a bit of info on this subject
We're not fussy, but we just want to get into the school catchment asap!
We don't mind renting a 2 bed apartment or an older 3 bed house (it's only got to last us 6 months till we find somewhere to buy).
There are plenty on realestate but are they easy to get?? We would just like to know how hard we've got to work to get one!
Thanks in advance
sam

You may want to look on the website for Varsity College, as the two schools are in different catchments, if you are looking for Prep - 7 then you need to be in Varsity Lakes. For High School you can be in Robina.
Varsity site Varsity College
There is plenty of competition for rentals on the Gold Coast but keep checking with local Real Estate, such as :
LJ Hooker
Ray White
Professionals
Good luck

So where would you need to live if you have one child in juniors (AGED 10) and one in the high school aged (12) ?

Ours went to Varsity and then we moved out, they still go to Varsity, as once you are in you are in.
Thats correct !

yep we live closer to prep school than the senior but would not have been able to get the kids in! luckily we only needed yr 7 and 10 so we were fine.
We ad an older rental and basically visited the real estates in person - that way they got to know you and we found them far more helpful than when we cold called from realestate.com - which we used to locate the properties and then went to the agents.
Good Luck
