Anyone from the Gold Coast fancy a night out
We`ve been here since Jan 06 and have been busy renting a house, getting kids into schools, buying a business etc. etc. and could really do with meeting up with a few people for a good night out - or maybe even a barbie in round ours Who`s up for it ?

Hi Smokey, whereabouts are you? Generally up for a drink - evenings would be just me - no babysitter but BBQ's during the weekend would be no problem. There are plenty of us here.

would have to be late March/Early April for us though as a bit busy this month.

Perhaps a main beach/Broad Beach venue would be cool, what do you think ? Or an Ozzie Barbie night would be cool also. Where on the coast are you guys?

If you mean this sat then we can not do it as we are baby sitting for Sue2 as they are going out with John & Netta for Sue's birthday. But am sure all of the above would be up for a meet at some other time .

Sorry we can not do the 25th as we have friends who are going to Noosa on holiday and we will be going up to see them on that day. Sorry to be a pain in the ass

Well, could set date for night out end of March say 25th in Main perhaps meet in one of the bars in the marina and then onto on of the restraunts. Or bril resturant down by the boat hire places in Surfers, think its called Grumpies. What does everyone think? If anyone does fancy barbie round ours this Saturday im still up for that as well.

Can't do this Saturday unfortunately, but would be up for the end of the month at any venue everyone decides on. Lets make this a big Expats Goldie night.

we will be in pacific pines a week today.
when we get there we will be sorting out a night at the pacific pines tavern so far a few in the area are up for it, but ill know more when we get there

We`re from Sutton in Surrey (south London) over on Business Visa, we arrived mid Jan 06. We`ve got 5 kids but the older three are in their 20`s and still in UK the two younger ones 16 yrs girl and 13 yrs boy came over with us but the 16year old couldn`t get the course she wanted over here so shes gone back to do her GCSE`s and is comming back in June. So just left with one kid and lodes of time on our hands at moment untill buying our business goes through.
So thought it would be good to meet up with others for a bit of relax time! We have friends down in Port and some in Perth, so petty much on our own over here.
Ive been on and off this site for about a year now but have changed names few times - mainly cause of moving arround so much in last few months and having to change email servers, and forgetting log ins etc.

What does everyone think of making night out on Friday 31 March or Saturday 1 April ?
