Gold Coast night oot?!

Gold Coast night oot?!
Hubby and I have been here 9 days, been shopping, to the beaches, horse riding, night out in Sanctuary Cove (very 'Stepford Wives' but a good laugh!). Anyway would love to meet up with others out there! 
As we have only been here a short time not sure about pubs or good 'meet' places. Anyone interested and more importantly anyone know of good places to go?
Fingers crossed off to do the driving test tomorrow(if we get there early enough), been studying(!!) all weekend!

Read through 'the book' again. Can't remember the sodding parking distances from bus stops, level crossings etc and some of the give way rules confuse me a bit! Time for a large glass of Chardonnay! Oh dear one of the practice questions is 'Can you still be over the alcohol limit the next day?' - Answer yes! I won't drive to the test centre!

There is a nite oot planned for Gold Coasters interested on 24th of this month. 7.30 - place to be finalised but probably the Irish bar on surfers. Will be a post asking for definate numbers starting next week. Do come along. (I'm in Upper Coomera - we can wave to each other from our windows! - well not quite!)

Oh goody! Was beginning to think everyone had moved away!! I am very frustrated with dial up so am not on this much unfortunately but count us in! We passed our driving test yesterday so have to celebrate!! 
Have been to Surfers but strangely haven't spotted an Irish Bar (that's a first, no offense intended there )
So have you 'been and done' all the theme parks on the doorstep yet? May have to test Wet n Wild tomorrow! Warm enough isn't it?!!!
