Default Gold Coast Meets - Robina/Varsity Lakes/Burleigh area

I have just moved to the Gold Coast from Perth, love to make some new friends here in the Gold Coast. Does anyone know of any weekly meets in the area?

If not, does anyone fancy a weekly ladies lunch, I work part time but when my hubby is at work and the kids are at school, I'd love to have some friends to socialise with! Anyone in the same position let me know!

Hi,

We finally moved up here too. I'm going to be looking for work as soon as I can find some daycare, but until then am lady of leisure (well as leisurely as you can get with an 18 mth old).

Would love to meet some new faces. Perhaps we can arrange coffee one morning later this week or next week?

Hi Alison,

I'm new to this site but have been in Australia for three years. Melbourne for 2 1/2 years and the Gold Coast since August. I'm in Benowa.
Would love to meet for a coffee and a chat anytime.
Let me know if you get together and I'll join you.

Alison

Hi Alison

Would love to meet up for a coffee, i've been called into work all this week, but got 2 weeks off over the Christmas period or I pass through Benowa on my way home, meet up for a coffee somewhere after work??? - let me know what suits!

How are you finding the Gold Coast? I lived in Vic when we first arrived in Aus, have to say Gold Coast has always been my No1, even though it has been raining almost since we have been here lol!!!

Speak soon Alison

Hi,
We are also looking to meet similar families, its fair to say we have nothing in common with our current small circle of freinds, we moved here 7 months ago from Melbourne, been in Oz 3 years. We live near clear island waters, I am into electronics & wifes a nurse, we have 2 daughters 7 & 9, its definatley a bit more difficult to meet families here on the GC than in Vic, which part of UK were you from?
Cheers
Paul & Sarah

Hi,
We are also looking to meet similar families, it sounds like our story is a mirror image of yours, my wife is a paeds nurse & worked PT at frankston hospital, we lived on the mornington penninsula for 2 1/2 years, we have 2 daughters 7 & 9. Do you have any children.
Cheers
Paul & Sarah
