Hi all,
We land in Brisbane on 15th October. We are heading for the gold coast once we sort Tax, banks, medicare etc. Can't wait. We are defo up for a meet when we get there. You'll have had a few by then!! We have a 22month old boy. Need to establish a baby sitter before the night meets!! But will defo come to family day meets.

Hi all
We arrive in the GC on the 20th August
we have a five week apartment right on the GC 
and from there we`ll have a good look at areas, then find a six month.

Anyone else go to the fireworks on Surfers tonight? What luxury - middle of winter no jumper, by the waves and lights fantastic - singing the loudest along to "my delilah!" with our kids burying themselves in the sand all night long! Fabby! Makes a change from sitting in the pouring rain watching the Edinburgh Festival fireworks! I've finally arrived in OZ! Yippee! May well be same sh*t shinnier bucket....but what a nice shiny bucket it is!

Darren Elise Joel and I will be arriving as soon as we sell the house, but have to validate by 23.10.05.

hi there,we re heading that way,we re staying with friends to start with at ormiston but looking to live on the gold coast area,we ll be landing on the 17th july,defo up for a meet if its after that,would love to meet other gold coasters

Hi Tracey
You are finally coming to the Gold Coast, I bet you can't wait and are counting down the days. I remember chatting briefly last year, I'm the guy with the minibus business, remember?
We have got blue, blue skies at the moment and have just come in for a cool down after sitting outside by the pool reading. The autums are great here.
Oh well, good luck for the move. Any questions just ask?

Hey WWW, we were there as predicted, it was fantastic wasn't it, I was speaking to some people, and they reckon they always do something for a public holiday weekend.

We stayed in the Morrocan in Surfers for one week and then the in the Pheonician at Broadbeach for another week. It worked out cheaper doing it this way because of the first week specials etc. Also the Barbados apps in Broadbeach are also ok.

So guys, who is gonna start this meet up??? It would be sooo great if this could be organised soon, as we will be out there between 20th june-8th July would make us so happy to meet you expats to listen to your experiences and put names to faces
