Question A Gold Coast Christmas party????

Having read some brilliant meet ups (yet to attend) and recognising that there are some true born leaders and organisers out there...(have I brown nosed enough yet???????)

I was wondering if anyone was gonna organise a Christmas party....a good piss up and crank up the Wizard and Slade????

I would offer but I couldnt organise a piss up in a brewery...

i was going to try and squeeze a christmas meet in (im sure i have a thread about it somewhere) but christmas is a bit hectic and people have work nights out so its hard to get a date where everyone is happy.

we are having a golf day for the guys on the 9th of that month, im not sure too many families could be doing with splashing out on a meet at that time of year?

as i said i started a thread but didnt get too many replies

its a bad month really. i tried it down in sydney and very few turned up. plenty said they would, but gave me loads of excuses the next day.

if someone else wants to have a go at it for christmas they are welcome

Sometime in January might work better - an recovering-from-Christmas party. Less demands for work events, less kids parties going on.

Ah yes what a good idea Polly .January would suit us fine as december is quite hectic for us as well.(Really speaking when the calendar was invented it should've had a minimum of 8 weekends put into december for socialising events to take place Would it be classed as a belated 2007 christmas party or an early 2008 christmas party ?
