Default Gold Coast

We are bringing our almost 3 year old, gorgeous grandson over to the Gold Coast for 5 days, will arrive on Friday. Any tips on which theme parks will suit, or any other attractions that he would enjoy.
Thanks

Seaworld is excellent for little ones. Lots of animals to see and the shows esp seal show are age appropriate. Also has an area of rides for tots. Skip the reef show though. Sharkbay and aquariums excellent. Ring and see if the waterslides are open yet or not. There is an area for little ones there for a splash if it gets hot. Best take a spare set of clothes too for him. The 4D show is fab but maybe scary for him.

Dreamworld is good for teenagers, lots of scary rides. There is also an area for tots but not really worth the money for a 5 year old. Same as Wet'n'Wild.
There is an area for young ones but not worth the entry just for that.

I have only been to Movie World a few times. It may be good if he loves batman. My friend's 2 and 4 year olds love it there.

The park opposite Aussie Fair called Washington Waters is excellent for a play, as is Pacific Pines park.

Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary may be a nice day out too.

Let me know how you get on.

Thanks for that Queenie, we will be staying just along from Aussie Fair so that park should be good, and we will enjoy the sun and beach as we have had a really long winter here in NZ.

Hi there

I agree with Queenie - Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is great for younger children. If you manage to get up to the Sunshine Coast, "The Big Pineapple" and "The Ginger Factory" are good excursions too.

Have fun!
