Going To Sydney And Childbirth????

Dear All,

My wife is seven months pregnant. She had all her regular check-ups at Royal Women Hospital,Melbourne and GP visits. Due to some job problems/assignments and we have to move to Sydney for couple of months.

Can anybody on this group may suggest what we must do so that she may attend her regular parenting childbirth education classes and regular weekly checkups in Sydney??What are the good childbirth hospitals in Sydney like Royal Women hospital , Melbourne??

Looking forward for your cooperation and support.

Thanks,
Syed

Where are you in Sydney? The Royal Hospital for Women is in Randwick in the Eastern Suburbs. You can sign up there with a referral from a doctor. When you sign up they will refer you to Ante-Natal classes. I don't know for the Royal Hospital for women take in people from outside the Eastern Suburbs. Shared care is available for those going to certain GPs around Randwick.
