Global motor series hits Sydney
Teams from 23 nations will compete in a unique motor sport event in Sydney from February 2 to 4.
The A1GP pits country against country in a showdown of driver skill over technical advantage.
On-track action will also include unique support races such as Formula 3 Australia, Australian GT Championship and historic race cars. Off-track, drift cars, motorcycle stunts and FMX displays will also keep the crowds entertained.
There will also be driver autograph sessions, an opening ceremony with live entertainment, rides for the family and super screens placed around the track.
Admission will be free for all for Friday's event, and children under 12 will gain free entry to the race throughout the weekend.
General admission for adults starts at $49, with NRMA members will able to purchase two tickets for the price of one.
Sydney's A1GP is round seven of the 2006/07 season that is being held at venues around the globe. It will be held at Eastern Creek International Raceway.
