getting visa stamped
A friend of mine is going travelling whilst he waits for his visa to come through
When he gets it and has to send his passport off can he travel to Adelaide and personally get his visa put in his passport or does he have to send it in the post???
As he will be in NZ at the time and could travel to Adelaide and get it sorted
Any one know

Hi Bussie
As far as I know you have to be outside of Australia when your visa gets put in your passport. You are not allowed to be in the country when it is issued for some reason. We rang up Adelaide to find this out as we had the same query as we will be there at Xmas but we were told that the visa could not be put in the passport out there.
