Re: Getting quotes for removals.....
Hi,
Has anyone actually worked out if it is cheaper to take your large items of furniture and pay the extra shipping costs or to just buy new stuff when you get there. Am going next month to research this matter before we go next year. |
Re: Getting quotes for removals.....
It seems that they will all barter!!!
We have had four out now and we have reduced it to 3 as the chap from JM was rubbish. Pickfords were the most expensive by far (£800 :scared: )and he phoned and when we told him by tht he was not in the running he is now off sharpening his pencil to requote us. |

It was for sole use of a 20ft, which they all think we will just about fill. I have Fox removals coming next week who will price up for a DIY pack and they fill the container... it will be interesting to see how the prices match up. |
