Default Getting Carpenter Power Tools Clean?!!

Hello

We are in the middle of sorting out the house in order to pack our container on 23 and 24 July. OH is a Carpenter and we will be taking a number of his power tools.

Anybody got any tips on how to get them clean enough to pass customs?

Thanks!

Tracy

Give them a good blow out with a compressor if you have one and a bit of WD40 on them and that'll be fine. They are not too bothered with stuff like that. More soil etc that can bring in disease. But untreated wood as a whole is a no no but if you do the above you'll be fine.

Thanks Moneypen!! Will give that a go - we can get hold of a compressor.
